One day I ventured down to the 92 South Street and walked past Sloppy Louie's and spied a cat sitting in the window. Very happy to look out and well fed, I am sure. I was in a musical at AADA called "The Three Penny Opera", and I used to walk down there on cold dark nights to get a 'feeling' for my part. There was only an occasional sloop anchored at the end of a lonely pier in those days. I miss that cat. Thanks for the memories from an old 73 year old sailor now hiding out in Nashville. Land locked again. You should go back again when it's slow, ask for the manager. Take a hardhat with you. Life is short. <br />MattAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
